Danbury Motorist Arrested On Active Warrant On I-95 In Greenwich

A Danbury man wanted on at least two warrants was arrested after being pulled over for a traffic violation.

Edwin Gonzalez-Martinez, 26, was pulled over on I-95 by Greenwich Police early Friday for a traffic violation. When the officer ran a criminal background check, he found Gonzalez-Martinez was wanted on active warrants, said a Greenwich Police arrest report.

According to court records, Gonzalez-Martinez has numerous charges related to driving, missing court appearances, and vehicle infractions in Danbury.

Gonzalez-Martinez is being held after failing to post $500 in bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 16.
